EasyGains ("we," "our," or "us") is a voice-first nutrition and fitness tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information.
Profile Data
We store the goals and targets you set within the app: your desired weight, daily calorie target, activity target, and goal type (lose weight, maintain, or build muscle).
Food and Workout Logs
We store the food entries and workout entries you log, including voice transcripts, estimated macros (calories, protein, carbs, fat), meal types, and workout details. This is the core data of the service.
Voice Input
When you use voice logging, your spoken words are transcribed on your device using Apple's Speech Recognition, then sent to our AI service (Anthropic Claude) to parse into structured nutrition or workout data. We store the resulting text transcript alongside your log entry. We do not store raw audio recordings.
We use your data solely to provide the EasyGains service:
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.
Supabase — We use Supabase for data storage and user authentication. Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure. See their privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic — When you log via voice, your transcript is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for parsing. Anthropic processes this data per their usage policies at anthropic.com/privacy. We send only the text of what you said — no account identifiers are included in these requests.
Apple — Voice transcription uses Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework, subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
EasyGains is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
